OYO Inn Kernersville

I had my room paid for and just because my flight got canceled and I wasn’t able to show up until the next day. They canceled my reservations, which is stupid if it was paid for it should’ve been held regardless of when I showed up.

Very dirty. I walked in the room and immediately felt blazing heat because they evidently left the air conditioning off to save money I guess. I had been in the sun all day and wanted a cool room. The sheets were dirty, the bed skirts had spots of blood on them, the tub was filthy, and the floor was not cleaned. They also charged a $50 deposit to stay in a non-smoking room, however the room still smelled like smoke. I wouldn't recommend this room to my worst enemy.

Clean and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have done a very good job with the remodeling.

The front desk lady upon arrival was not friendly at all. The first room we were given had an almost empty roll of toilette paper with no extra in the room, when asking the front desk lady for more we were handed another roll with a smirk and no exchange of words. Upon further inspection of the room upon when we pulled the sheets back to find a wad of hair and mysterious wet spot, we were given a new room that was slightly less dirty. Both non smoking rooms smelled a lot like smoking rooms which maybe is unavoidable when you offer smoking rooms. We left early and probably wouldn’t have stayed if we hadn’t already driven 9 hours, waited about 20 minutes waiting for someone to check us out to get our $50 cash deposit, I guess the front desk sleeps?
