Beautiful 18th-century country house. The room was beautifully decorated with 18th-century furniture and paintings. John our host, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We were only there one night, but it was lovely.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. If you want to feel as if you are living in the 18th c but with the modern amenities of plumbing electric and heating, this is the place. The owner Michael was extraordinarily hospitable, even serving us tea in the splendid drawing room. It was a real treat to stay at Collin House.

The historic rooms, authentic experience, and atmospheric setting for a good book and a nice chat on a rainy day. The breakfast times were incredibly reasonable and the breakfast was tasty.
