Friendly, comfortable, great food and lovely staff

We were met by a friendly guy who booked us in speedily. Room was not large but clean. Good nice duvet on bed. Excellent WiFi coverage. Good sound proofing All staff when you found one were lovely kind and helpful

Shower room very very small. No explanation as to how aircon worked. Breakfast continental and basic but free with room

The room was spacious and welcoming, as well as the staff.

The bathroom had a bit of mould, altough understandable.

Buffet style ontinental breakfast was very good and suited us well. The evening menu provided adequate choice though clearly some mainstream items were probably better; the veg curry with rice was perhaps a little overcooked. The sharing platter with side chips was very good when we only wanted a small meal. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The only criticism of location is the proximity to the railway line and crossing so some noise in the end room and the local area provided no additional interest. We needed to be close to Wool so in this respect the location was good.

Nice pub, rooms ok for the price and had everything you need, clean room and ensuite with white fresh bedding and towels. Pool and games/darts room was a nice suprise. Staff were friendly.

'Continental' breakfast a bit lacklustre.

Great value for money. Good sized room, plenty of parking with EV charging and temperature of room was perfect.
