Hotel Pax

The hotel itself was located about 20mins walk from the town centre and around 5-10 mins in the car, there is a nice restaurant 5 mins from the hotel which is cheep and cheerfull and do lovely food if you have had a tiring day and don't want to go far for dinner. The staff are nice and friendly and if we informed them of something e.g the hallway lights were turned off at night so you couldn't see down the corridor, (this happend 2 nights in arow) they would run up the turn them on. It was a great deal! The service and cleanliness makes up for not being super close to Old Split. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s really nice more like a boutique experience.

Property was very clean. Breakfast was good. Outdoor sitting comfortable. Very polite.

Nothing special. Just normal clean & tidy. Buffet breakfast is ok.

This property was more basic than advertised in my opinion. It almost felt like sleeping in a dorm room. I will say, the staff was helpful and friendly though.

The friendliness of their staff and knowledge of not just Split but the surrounding areas in Croatia as well cannot be understated! Thanks for making a first time visitor feel welcome!

The property is set in a nice area of town which is close to a quiet beautiful beach and the staff are absolutely lovely

Breakfast great and staff very helpful. Hotel is new and still in progress but there’s nothing negative about it. I recommend putting in mirrors in rooms.

We never got past the reception area. The hotel overbooked, blamed Expedia, and tried to put us in a Motel instead. We complained that we prepaid via Expedia and the Motel was unacceptable. They then put us in another hotel, but made us pay the difference. We had to pay 500 euros more for a room, we had no choice as they had no space left at Hotel Pax. I will never book a room with Hotel Pax and will warn everyone to stay away. We paid much, much more than we planned because they overbooked. When this happens most hotels cover the cost, they put the cost on us. For a new hotel this is unacceptable. No customer service whatsoever.
