Party Hostel- Canmore Hotel Hostel

Great location. Kitchen and shower facilities can be improved. Staff were very helpful.

The hostel was hard to find without an obvious sign and there were about 4 parking spots so we had to park in the paid area across the street (free 8p-8a). We weren’t bothered by bar noise but there was a lot of street noise early in the morning and the curtain in the room didn’t keep out the sun. Showers and bathroom were fine and clean enough. Kitchen seemed pretty dirty, only used the microwave.

The bed assigned vs the bed shown in the picture during the booking is completely different without a curtain and there was no reception or front desk to go speak to. The bed I was assigned already had someone in it. It’s a mess.

I was so happy with my stay there. They got me out of a pinch, and were extremely helpful. It was my first ever stay in a hostel, but I felt really comfortable, and the staff and clientele were very friendly. Will be staying again.

The place is very ideal for backpackers considering the very reasonable price and to think its in theart of Canmore diwntown!

The place was not too far from Banff national park, plus the location is surrounded by beautiful mountains.

nice location - center of Canmore downtown. Everything else is a minus - staff not friendly, showers not convenient, lockers not satisfactory, temperature was a big concern (very cold through out my stay)

Everything was at the level I expect for hostels. Unfortunately that includes the bed. It was very uncomfortable. Considering it is such an old building I was actually impressed with its condition. The staff member who was working when I checked in carried my large suitcase up to my room for me as well. I am not used to staff who actually care at hostels, so big thumbs up there.

Small room with shared kitchen, washroom. Some weird DJ was going on at the ground floor late at night. Canamore is good but rental is quite high there.

Great for the nightlife and walkable around downtown. Cheap drink deals for guests in the downstairs pub. No frills but well equipped kitchen. Bed was comfy and staff were helpful. There is no going to bed early on the weekends or sleeping in past 7-7:30 but we didnt mind.
