"Clean and great location to main shops , Port Fairy is Beautiful"

Location -excellent Apple tree -Lovely

The fact that the property has purposely been pajnted to decieve the onlooker ,making jt to appear in great condition from the front when i fact it is actually desperately seeking ALOT of TLC .You only need to look at the side and rear of the house to see where it needs attention . No air conditioning and no option to open windows as no fly screens on windows and no screen security door to let air in . Unsafe Gas heating and no safety alarms for the gas heating .Highly unsuitable especially for families .and also not energy efficant to run gas heating. Huge gapes under outside door which could lead to snakes entertaining the childrens games room . Outdoor clothes line needs alot of attention to be able to use it and how hard is jt to go to a junk store and purchase a bag of useable clothes pegs that actually work ! All of the ones provided are not usable and the clothes line is not in a good height for shorter people and cannot be make lower to suit . Shower needs an update the temperate altered as it is dangerous. And all of the tapes in the bathroom /toilet need correct Hot/cold buttons so one knows that they are on the opposite sides and so they do not burn themselves . Hot water service needs the water temperature lowered for safety of the guests especially children .Again this is a simple purchase from a hardware . Front gates cannot be closes due to the grass height and it needs a gate to secure children from the back yard to front where the road is . Kitchen lacks power outlets for appliances . Toys need an update and most that is broken should be thrown out . Rubbish could be removed from the property instead of being hidden behind sheds

"We had a very enjoyable stay in a pleasant, roomy house close to Sackville Street."

Everything that we wanted for our stay was available. The house was airy, spacious and had a good feel to it. The kitchen was very well equipt. We could buy breakfast food and make our own scrabled eggs. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower was really good. Great location: quiet street a short walk from Banks and Sackville Streets for morning tea and coffee and dining.

A minor point: the beds were comfortable but the pillows were poor quality; too hard and a bit lumpy.

The location of Mary Grants was great. An easy walk to cafes, restaurants etc and to the wharf area and Griffith Island.
