Motel 6 Corbin KY

I was surprised by how comfortable and clean the room was. We needed a place to stay for a week, and we had to bring our dog. There are other pet friendly hotels in the area, but the fees to have or dog with us were more than we could afford for that length of time. This was the cheapest hotel in the area and dogs stay for free - I booked knowing there was a good possibility we would be really uncomfortable....I mean, you get what you pay for. But, the place was super clean, if a little run down, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure was awesome, the few interactions we had with the staff were great. We will probably stay at this hotel whenever we visit Corbin from now on.

There was no coffee maker in the room. Not a huge deal, they have coffee in the lobby, but for those that caffeinate the moment they wake up....I mean, basically, my husband did not want to have to get fully dressed and presentable to go get coffee. He's a turn off the alarm, turn on the coffee kinda guy lol. So, we just grabbed a single cup coffee maker from Walmart while we were there and he was happy.

There was no continental breakfast and the pool was closed

This motel was way better than expected for $70 / night. Very clean, updated, well-lit, and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Staff were very nice and clear

Excellent value for a one-night stay. Clean, comfortable & quiet room. Grounds were well kept and sufficient for my needs.

Bare bones with no in-room coffee, shampoo or conditioner
