Blue Sea Villa

Well equipped villa. Everything was as described. Great location. Very good communication with hosts.

Large kitchen and sitting area and the best BBQ we’ve had in Cyprus with all the utensils to use it properly. The pool area was large too with a good sized pool Comfortable beds and excellent air con A 15 minute walk along the front to Fig Tree Bay

4 double beds would have suited us as a group of 8 adults better Builders started at 7.20 each morning on a new development next door. The work finished by 9. It did mean we were early to the beach every day. The work looks nearly complete

Exceptionally clean and fantastic location

The location of the villa is good, the beach is very close and the sandy beach with sun beds about 10-15 min walk away. Protaras centre is also about 10-15 walk away, so as long as you don't mind a bit of walking, it is okay and everything is close by. The villa is simple and nice, quite basic interior. The double beds however were very comfortable, and I slept very well there. The owner's parents also brought us a cake, which was extremely welcoming and nice! The owner also replied to all our messages very quickly and was helpful.

The towels we were given were not all clean, some of them had stains. Also one of the upstairs showers' drain wasn't really working, making it uncomfortable to shower there and the bathroom was a bit unclean too. The owner was kind enough to call a plumber but unfortunately we left before he had a chance to come. I would also advise to get darkening curtains to upstairs bedrooms, because even with the roller blinds, the biggest bedroom was like there were all lights on as soon as the sun came up. We in Finland with nightless summer nights specialize in darkening curtains so I would advise to check them from Ikea, but if you are not sensitive to light, then it's okay. The couches and sunbeams could do with a renewing them, they were all very hard and pretty uncomfortable to sit on, but nothing we couldn't manage. Not 5 star hotel level, but if you are not fussy then they should do.

Beach at the end of the street. Lots of space in the living area and around the pool which was large (5mx12m). 15min walk into Protaras and just a 20min bus into Aiya Napa.

Bathrooms were small but perfectly clean.

The host was super helpful and especially accommodating to our young children's needs. The house is very comfortable, and the pool area is very nice.

There are many fire ants on the property, mostly right outside the house. Several also came inside and stung our young kids while they played in the living room. If they could treat the ants better, the house would be ideal for a family with young kids.

Villa was spacious and had all of the facilities you need for a relaxing holiday. We had paid extra for the pool heating as visiting late October but not sure if we needed it. Pool was cleaned during the week. Chrysia our host was fantastic and very responsive to any messages. Would recommend the villa to anyone wanting to stay in Protaras but away from the nightlife. It's about a 15 minute walk to the start of Protaras strip (turn right at the main road and walk along). Roughly 20mins walk to the beach near Fig Tree Bay which is always a nice day out. Taxis to and from the strip are between 12€ & 15€ each way.

Location was great ten mins from Napa two mins from protaras centre, away from noise

Water could be like warm in showers if your one of the last to get in
