Langavatn Guesthouse

This was a great place to stay in a beautiful area and was close to Husavik for whale watching and other activities. Highly recommended! The staff were very friendly and helpful as well!

This is literally my favorite place I stayed during my time in Iceland. I loved everything about it. The staff were so sweet and nice. The room and common area were great as well. It was very peaceful there and it’s right in between two awesome towns!

Renovated farm house built in 1930, with a lot of charachter. Location is very close to Ring Road (road 1) in beautiful surroundings. Comfortable beds, clean and warm rooms. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. Host was very welcoming.

Excellent place to stay with a highly hospitable and friendly host. The guest house is located on a private estate with a lake right in front. It’s conveniently located just off the highway to Husavik and is easily accessible. The host kindly engaged us in conversations about the area, Icelandic language and weather patterns in the locality. The breakfast spread was pretty sumptuous and we loved our stay here. Will highly recommend this place to others.

Heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en super schoon en ontbijt is ook goed en omgeving is heel erg mooi en alleen vind ik wel jammer dat buiten veel te veel kleine vliegers en misschien is met seizoen te maken.

Maravilloso. Probablemente el mejor alojamiento en nuestro largo viaje por Islandia. Si a eso le sumas que estuvimos solos en toda la casa, la experiencia fue muy buena. El entorno es maravilloso, su paisaje y tranquilidad sin igual. Fue donde mejor pudimos descansar. Nos dio la mejor habitación. La casa entera para nosotros. La propietaria, Anna, amable en su máxima expresión. Cercana, habladora. Todo un placer charlar con ella. Nos preparó incluso el desayuno antes de lo habitual. Ella misma, para nosotros solos. Durante el mismo, estuvo en todo momento atenta y preocupada por que no nos faltara nada. El desayuno muy bueno, sobre todo habida cuenta de los estándares islandeses. Wonderful place. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Aesthetically the house was beautiful and clean and spacious. A very peaceful place to stay.
