From the warm greeting by the member of staff on reception when we arrived late after a long journey to the wonderful view from our room, the comfortable bed and the extensive breakfast we loved everything about our stay at Meliá Maria Pita

We stayed in a room with a terrace and the view was unbelievable. The room was spacious and comfortable and the location was fabulous

When I booked i did request an early check in as our flight got us in at 8am . This was never confirmed and said Subject to availability. When we arrived at lunch time we got told they had early check in for us. Delighted. But they said there was a charge of an extra 10 euros an hour. I said I was never made aware of that, or that the early check in was available. I said I would check in at the normal time of 3pm then and go for a wander. They agreed to waive the charge. Parking was an extra 25 euros a day which I thought was steep.
