ibis Tours Centre Gare

Great service in the bar/restaurant. Very good breakfast for a budget hotel. The elevators were large for France (easily accommodating 4-5 people), but the bathroom was small even for France. There's not much to do in the area (it's a good 20-minute walk to the center of Tours where you'll find restaurants and shopping), but the hotel is only about a 5-minute walk from the train station.

Front desk staff was friendly, and spoke good English. Very Convenient to the CDG Airport, and had Restaurant Facilities close by.

Staff were good and there's a secure car park next door - hotel can validate the car park ticket. On the downside, the bathroom is very small, if you're 6 foot tall, you won't easily fit in the shower, and the hotel is circa 1980s

We had a good stay in Tours. Visited a few castles and the French country side.

Friendly staff, clean room, near to the train station and shops, restaurants etc

Very comfortable but air conditioning and ventilation a bit lacking. Room got a bit stuffy in the night but they provided a fan which solved the problem. Would be concerned if hot weather. I have found this centrally controlled ventilation system at other Ibis hotels and it's not ideal.

Rooms very small, I'm 5ft 7ins and I struggled in the bathroom, room 620. Bed and linen excellent. Parking was fine next door. Because of the excessive rain we had to eat in the restaurant, not cheap. Towels small. It looks as though corners are being cut.

Great hotel. Food was of a good standard a cooked fresh in front of you. Rooms are small especially the bathroom but it clean and practical. We used this hotel as a stop over on our return from Spain.

well located and spotless room what more could you need? definitely use again :-)

Excellent stay; very comfortable. Very helpful reception staff. Only criticism- no separate face towel.
