Holiday Inn Express Fairfax-Arlington Boulevard by IHG

Reserved this room with the option to pay at the desk when checking in at the hotel. Apparently they needed my room badly and tried calling me while i was in surgery. Because I didn't answer they canceled my room without my knowledge and gave it to someone else. I woke up from surgery with no room for the night and appointments in the morning. No apologies or anything. Is good customer service even a thing anymore?

The staff was very friendly at check in. Hotel is in a great area with lots of dining options

Breakfast was great and the hotel was very clean

Everything in the building worked well. The breakfast was good. The room was clean, and spacious. Staff was very efficient and friendly. The only problem my room had was the tub flaucet was slightly bent, but it wasn't a major issue. The area also has a lot of restaurants and useful stores

Hotel is in a nice safe area. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Free breakfast was standard with plenty of options. Raj at reception warmly greeted us, thanked us for being IHG members and was very helpful. There is plenty of shopping and dining options nearby although not a lot in walking distance.
