Great location, good sized well decorated rooms and a nice breakfast. Will stay again next time I’m in Bordeaux!

A very comfortable hotel in a very quiet location, even though in the centre of Bordeaux. Ideal as a base from which to explore the city. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Staying at the HBEO was a real pleasure and we will certainly look forward to a return visit in 2025.

This was our third time at this hotel for a celebratory birthday trip for my husband. The staff were aware and treated us with great care and thoughtfulness. Everything was perfect as usual.

The property was located right in the heart of the city and parking was close by . The ambiance of the hotel was cold and disengaged which came from the lack of engagement from the hotel staff . It’s a people business , make engagement part of the guest experience.

Can’t fault the location of this hotel and the proximity to trams which made it so easy to navigate Bordeaux. Room was not ready when we arrived at 4pm. Told to sit and wait. 30 mins later still waiting, told they were busy but sorry, not my problem! Miraculously room was found and no complaints about it though very compact. Female receptionist was quite offhand with guests. Would return due to location but reception staff need some customer service training. Unlike breakfast staff who were charming and friendly!

Very good stay. Bathroom a little bit tight and regret lack of safety bars around a bathtub which did not protect from slipping.

The best location in Bordeaux!

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in a great location just steps away from the City Center and all things Bordeaux. There are a variety of room sizes but I selected the smallest and it was perfect for me. The space is designed for comfort including many small touches that make a big difference including an espresso machine, rain shower, and reading lights. I had a lovely big window that opened and looked out over one of the main pedestrian streets. The tram is literally out the door and around the corner. It will take you everywhere. The staff was exceptional and always ready to help. We had a travel hiccup and they were was so kind and went out of there way to help us. Just book it!
