Comfort Inn Escondido San Diego North County

Our family stay at the Comfort Inn here in Escondido San Diego hasn’t been a good experience, first the smell in our room was like old musk walking in, secondly spider webs on our balcony scared our children, lastly we hear water running in the pipes through the walls. Ownership should consider a complete overhaul remodel.

I loved how close it was to everything. The staff was amazing. Great breakfast options. The rooms can be updated. I did not like you couldn’t take a shower without paint pulling off the tub and constantly.

This was my second time staying at this location. Overall, the hotel is good—clean and comfortable. I do wish the bathrooms were a bit bigger, but the beds are very comfortable (and I'm pretty picky about that). The breakfast was decent, nothing fancy but it did the job. This was also my first time booking through Hotels.com and it was a good experience. I got a slightly better price for the dates I stayed, so that was a nice bonus.

Friendly staff, great breakfast and many restaurants and stores within walking distance. IN N OUT AND CANES IN THE SAME PROPERTY. Will be staying here again in my future visits.
