"Not very hospitable "

We booked a room here as they advertised that they were "Pet Friendly", as we have a small dog. When we arrived we were informed that only certain rooms were pet friendly and that we couldn't have the room we booked and so we were moved away from the main hotel. The room they moved us too had a broken sink that my husband had to fix and holes in the sheets and pillow cases (see photos.) Even though it advertises that it's pet friendly we felt as if we were being treated like "second class" guests. After being on the road for 6 and a half hours we just didn't need to be made to feel this way. When we checked out we also got charged extra when we checked out, "service fee" that hadn't even been mentioned up to this point, maybe that was to fix all the things that had been wrong with the room before we got there.

We love it here. Friendly helpful staff, breakfast and happy hour wine for guest, roomy well appointed room BUT bring earplugs! AC clunks in and off, someone was vacuuming close to our room at 2am. We will still visit if in the area due to the convenience of bar and restaurant and room price.

"Great find during a road trip."

Friendly staff and large, comfortable room. It was quiet (although we were off season). Nicely appointed attention to details inside and on the grounds.
