Budget Inn

I always feel safe when i stay here. Especially when traveling alone. Alwayz treated with respect. The owners have done alot of upgrades and improvements to the property.

No Kleenex. Loud air conditioner. Door hard to open.

It has what you need for an overnight when you're traveling on I-40. It's an older property in the classic Route 66 style in a decent part of Tucumcari although it's not on the Interstate. It's clean, comfortable bed, shower with tub, microwave and refrigerator but no coffee maker. Owners are polite, welcoming and make an effort to make your stay pleasant.

It had really good reviews, but it was really inexpensive so I was quite concerned about going there. Driving up, the surrounding businesses were closed and abandoned, and it looked really sketchy. I pulled up to the front office and the staff was wonderful. Got my room key went in the room and to my surprise it was very clean and renovated. I had a great night sleep there. I highly recommend it for the price.

For the price you can't beat this place. It was clean and nice. I would definitely stay there again whether passing through or staying in the area. The host was very nice as well.

Staff was professional and polite

Greeted by front desk staff on arrival. Complimentary water (two bottles) at check in. Room was clean and fresh smelling. Rated three stars for amenities due to lack of hair dryer (which is why I always travel with one, just in case), and no pool (which I knew going in. Otherwise, this was a nice small hotel.

I notified management that I’d arrive really late, and there wasn’t any issues. Great customer service, and the rooms were really clean! The room was even nice and cool after being out in the heat. Probably my new place to stay whenever I have to stop at Tucumcari while on long road trips.

Older motel, we were passing through from the Grand Canyon. It was relatively clean, I killed a water bug when we arrived. It kinda had me second guessing my choice but I decided to take my chances. I didn’t regret it. Quiet and inexpensive.

Hotel 🏨 is very run down. Our pillows looked like half pillows. Air conditioning was good.
