La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fayetteville I-95

The price was decent. The rooms had a modern revamp.

Ah where do I start. This is one of those times, where I don't understand how this place received such a high rating. First off, it was INCREDIBLY hot inside the room. It took 4 HOURS to have the room cooled off to a reasonable temperature. We even switched rooms after being in the first one for half an hour thinking it was broken. The rooms were not as clean as I would have liked. Behind the beds looked like they may have never been cleaned, there were even the remanents of someone's snacks back there. Mystery stains on the bottom of the bed frame around the sides. Outlets with visible mold on them. Cracked top to the air conditioner. Mystery hair everywhere. The beds. Oh boy. I would have been better off sleeping on the floor. They were very hard and extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. The pillows were alright, nothing special. The breakfast was subpar. I called before booking and asked about options available and was told there was a wide assortment of HOT breakfast items. You got make your own waffles, eggs and sausage. That's it, as far as hot food goes. You can also have some frozen yogurt cups and old cereal. The only positive about the breakfast was the sweet woman that was refilling everything. In a unsavory area. Lots of people wandering outside the hotel that we're not staying there, but instead in the hotel next door. Compared to other hotels in the area, charging the same price, this was not worth it. Would never stay here again. You have been warned.

A highway / roadway hotel. Our criteria for a one-night stay at such a place is that it is clean, quiet, safe, has a comfortable bed, and quick breakfast. This hotel meets some of our criteria. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, it was reasonably clean but the chairs were deeply stained, there was road noise because it backed to the highway; fortunately, the air conditioner was very loud masking the road noise. The breakfast was adequate and got us on the road quickly the next morning.

Easy to find this motel. It is literally right off of the interstate. The clerk at the front desk was very nice and informative. When we arrived at our second floor room we were impressed with its design and decor. Connected to wifi jiffy quick.

When you used the bathroom sink faucet it was so powerful it splashed water all over the floor and our clothes. The dark curtain for the window was off track. The AC/Heater would not maintain a comfortable temperature at all. Shower faucet's design was unique. Took some time to figure out how to make the shower turn on. Breakfast area sign: "No food out of the breakfast area."
