The Hotel Saskatchewan, Autograph Collection

I cannot recall the last time I stayed in such a great hotel. The rooms were well appointed and spacious, the decor and ambience was lovely, the service at the front desk was great, the service in the bar and dining spaces was also excellent. The food was great. The hotel has an unusually large and well accommodated fitness centre. I was there to participate in a running race so it was also super convenient that they have a nice spa right in the hotel.

My husband and I went to a wedding and he was ordering Crown Royal and Coke all night, my husband noticed the Crown Royal was extremely watered down. We requested to speak to the manager to discuss the premium drinks which was watered down. She in turn stated “that was the good bottle.” My husband took a picture of the bottle and they took the bottle away. The Groom found out about it from another guest who was drinking the same drink as my husband. We all then requested her bring back the bottle and for some reason and suspiciously there was a higher level of liquid. The manager asked him “what can I do for this to go away” I wanted my money back and she gave me back $150. We’re extremely disappointed that this happened in the Sask hotel of all places. We will be contacting the hotel, but we wanted the public to be aware.

We like that they preserved the history, in SK that's the only hotel like that. And we love our stay. Everyrhing we love it. I like the front desk her name isValentina, she made our check in so easy, so friendly and give us all the details properly. She made sure we felt special with a little present because my partners birthday. And there's one more really good employee in breakfast area we don't her name but her service is fabulous, she's wearing eyeglass with brown/blonde hair.

I can't imagine how you would give a hotel the ambiance that makes it feel like you.ve come home when you walk through the front door, but the Hotel Saskatchewan has always offered this feeling. From Leah who looked after our reservation to Valentina who always greets us like family at the reception desk, to Jodi in the lounge, the staff here is exceptional. Our stays here are always very enjoyable and we would recommend the hotel very highly.

It is a beautifully crafted vintage hotel that has a grandiose feel while still maintaining charm and warmth. A great blend of all the best things! We ate at The Burrow/ Circa for supper. Food was excellent and service was exemplary. Had Easter Brunch in the Dining Room and again both food and service were above and beyond. The atmosphere for both were to be reveled in. We used the hot tub which is situated off a very well appointed fitness center. The water was hot, and again the decor was very tastefully done. Our room was a king room. High ceilings, a subtle color palette and modernized washroom. Bed was just the right blend of soft and firm. Pillows were full but still soft. Room was very quiet. Elevators are quick to arrive and deliver. Honestly one of the nicest places I have stayed in. Highly recommend.

There was no fan in the bathroom.
