Lidt ældre værelse og specielt badeværelset kunne opdateres til lidt mere moderne. Men alt fungerede og til prisen rigtigt godt

Rooms above a lovely community pub with a great atmosphere. Great location for both Hebburn and Jarrow centres. Lovely menu and breakfast served weekends.

Quite dated needs some TLC

Clean and comfortable

The room was pleasant and clean with a comfortable bed. The heating was so exceptional that we had to turn off the radiators! The bar and restaurant areas downstairs were attractive and the staff polite and helpful. We didn’t eat there, so cannot comment on the food.

I had asked for a blanket and sheets and not a duvet on the bed and that wasn’t honoured, so we took the duvet out of its cover and slept with the sheets. There was also no decaf instant coffee in the room and when I asked for it at the bar, they had none. I can’t drink caffeine so that was a problem for me, as tea is also caffeinated and it would have been nice to have had a couple of hot drinks in the room.
