Oxford Suites Portland - Jantzen Beach

Rooms were ok not crazy clean but not too bad, food wasn’t the greatest but there was food which was a plus since we were there for a cheer competition, the pool seemed to be fun for the kiddos but did not look very clean either. We stayed for two days and extended our check out to a later time. We did have to go up to the front each day to redo our keys because we weren’t able to get back in really sucked since we had two kids one baby and a ton of stuff. We had to walk around the entire building outside since we parked closest to the entry to our room. Even had to redo the keys when we got back after we extended our stay.

Great accommodations, clean and welcoming with friendly staff. The Bistro provides a convenient and relaxing place for good food and drinks.

Everyone was very pleasant. Room was amazing.

As a suite the bed was in the fore next to the bathroom, and the living room area was in the back of the suite by the window unit. There was a pocket door to separate the two. I think they should have reversed these as I think it might have helped to cut down on the noise from the hall - which was a huge issue during my stay due to guests associated with a basketball tournament running up and down the hallways, screaming, yelling, and making a lot of noise. But the staff did try hard, I just don't think they had the ability to do much to control such a large group of people. In short, if I am back in Portland for any reason I would probably choose a different hotel just to avoid the likelihood of a future recurrence as I had this time.

Room was clean and inviting. Staff were attentive and helpful. The pool area witb hot tub and sauna were the teenagers favorite. We will return in the future.
