Ventura Grand Inn

The motel is currently undergoing extensive renovation. Staff was wonderful, aesthetics poor but in the process of improvement. This place provides a relatively inexpensive way to stay in Mammoth Lakes

The owner is a wonderful man and very kind!! The exterior is in need of much updating and repairs. The room was clean and somewhat updated. I think they are working on updating. While I had concerns when I arrived, I feel like they are trying and he is very concerned about his guests! It felt pricey for the condition, however. I think most everything in the area this time a year runs about what I paid. It is a 'Bear Aware' town also!! Just an FYI.

I stayed in the hotel for a wedding party. Overall the room was clean and spacious. There aren’t a lot of things to do around the area, you need to drive to nearby towns.

Yes hotel is a bit outdated but if you can oversee that the rest is great! Location is great! Rates are great! And the owner is so nice and accommodating.

I stay here often when I come to Mammoth and yes it is an older facility, but most hotels in Mammoth are. This place is very spacious and the staff always go out of their way to be helpful.

A bedside lamp would have been nice instead of just the bright overhead lights.
