Quality Inn Savage - Bloomington West

I liked that once I got service the G.M. or whomever was apologizing and friendly.

I didn't like that I was at the front desk waiting for 10-15 min. Meanwhile other customers were waiting and calling with no avail. Then wàlking in someone was out front smoking weed and packing their bowl. Then another person staying was creating a scene being loud and swearing. At that point I asked is it safe here? The hallways smelled like weed . So I checked in online because that was quicker than waiting for someone at the service desk. By the time they arrived I was booked in online and it was the last room!! The room was fine. Not a great experience. I'd suggest if people are paying rent and living their month to month they are presenting a negative perception.

We have stayed here twice and will not be back. We arrived late and there was no parking. The guy at check in was trying to be helpful and offered us his spot. It was extremely loud in the evenings. The breakfast was standard with barely any seating, but they don’t want you to take it to the room. The whole hotel feels damp and musty. The pool was decent and the hot tub was working. We were flying in and out flight was delayed by 3 hours. I appreciated the call to check in on us and make sure we were still coming.

Management was friendly. They accommodated our stay quickly after having a terrible experience at a previous hotel. I am extremely grateful for their services and help

Kind of what was expected for the price but still not likely to stay again. No elevator for anyone that might need it. Also smells of stale cigarettes at least on the 3rd floor. Breakfast wasn't that great, biscuits are microwaved and no meat (at least when we got there). On a personal side note, not thrilled as a parent that my child was the only one singled out to be told not to jump in the pool when there multiple other kids doing it as well. I'm not saying that jumping in should be allowed but if you're going to correct one kid you should be correcting all the kids. The positive part of the stat was the gentleman that checked us in. Sandy was very helpful and he offered to help us to the 3rd floor with all our bags even though he had phones ringing and was the only one there at the time. He was great and the only reason I didn't give a 1 star review.

Close to Hy-Vee and restaurants. Had a jacuzzi

No elevator, bugs in the Jacuzzi, no towels at the pool. Parking lot full of garbage, like broken glass bottles and just garbage everywhere it was so gross.
