Inn at Grand Glaize

It was a total Dump !

Dirty, filthy and small Black flys came out of bathroom sink and Bathroom. Not a few but large swarms of them. I left immediately to go find another place to sleep.

Atmosphere was nice. Staff was caring

Bedding was stained

Inn at Grand Glaize Worst experience of my life the room was dirty. The lady behind the desk when we arrived was sweet she making the start of my trip. It went down hill fast! I understand things happen but I was verbally attacked all weekend because my boyfriend is 6'4 and bald he was threatened i was stalked to my room and followed. My dog was even harassed and almost attacked by a pitty while being rold their dog olnt does that to cops! When all was brought to the attention of the front desk they did nothing time and time again! At check out time we was told to fill out a paper will no care or concern it took him 18 mins to find the paper! All i saw was a hotel who cares nothing for the people When we went to check out they didnt want to take care of our concerns then either just like all weekend it is best to avoid this place. Honestly the best part of this whole place is the view and the bartender has a amazing positive attitude and I love that! Room: There was mold around the culking on the bathtub. I found other people's hair when I checked in the room all over the counter and bathtub. The table on the deck was broken there was only one chair on the deck where everyone else had 2. The wood on the deck was rotted and the concrete was tilted as if my 5th floor deck was falling the railing was completely titled and roted on the right side I didnt feel safe on my deck so I would go to ground level or out the 1st floor door by the hot tub. Nearby activities: Do to being off season its a dead town. After my event was canceled first day I had nothing to do and none of the staff I asked could give any recommendations but they did try. SafetyI was followed to my floor by a gentleman and also followed around, they did nothing to address this concen. All weekend me and my guests was harassed the second night there it got so bad at the bar where they had threatened to jump my boyfriend and make snorting noises at us all night. Where again nothing was done about this. The following morning the same leader from the group came down and threatened my service animal ( the dog the had tried to attack my service dog all weekend) I DID NOT FEEL SAFE HERE! Walkability: The grounds are completely unable to be walked if your disabled and if you have a service dog dont expect to have some place level to take them to restroom. Food & drinks: I have celiac and the cook was able to make my food and I had no problems. The bartender was AMAZING! I am not going to lie it is very very pricey for the food but all together best part about the place is the bar and the bartender Noteworthy details: The view is amazing and when the town is alive in the summer would probably be a destination worth seeing

This is a large property, the largest we’ve stayed at this trip. It’s situated along one arm of Lake of the Ozarks. The lobby is on the fourth floor. We enter directly from the parking lot. The land slopes sharply downward toward the Lake. We’re staying on the third floor. A floor below the lobby. Different. Our room overlooks an inlet of the Lake. We can see across the Lake, but not too many lights at night. An interesting view. The room is typical of a chain hotel – king bed, one bed table, credenza with TV, mini-fridge and microwave, a sofa with sofa table, a writing desk and chair. A nice rather generic room. Comfortable clean and well maintained. It has a balcony overlooking the Lake. A nice touch.

Unusual good location and nice staff

Paint peeling off walls, flies all over, maid left sliding door open for more flies, broken floor lamp, dirty tub, broken bed leg with screw on floor, dirty waste cans.

The location

Everything! It was a college party weekend. The rooms were dirty and disgusting. The staff didn't care that their facility was being trashed. Smell of pot everywhere. Loud music till all hours of the night. Unacceptable

Bar was closed early and no breakfast

Stayed at The Inn when it first opened. Not the same but still a nice to stay for the value.
