Turf Valley Resort

Great place for a conference - good facilities, staff, food, tables, A/V, etc. Rooms seem to be more like a standard US hotel - nothing very special.

Outstanding conference facility with amazing food. REALLY amazing food. Spare rib sliders and crab toast were two of the highlights. Only issue was odorless soap and shampoo.

Stayed two nights for a work trip, the grounds and hotel were very clean and well kept. The restaurant was also very nice, highly recommend the happy hour specials. The only real criticism I have is that I walked their nature trail, which was supposed to be a mile and a half and it cut off abruptly. There was also a fallen log across one of the paths so it could be upkept a little better but other than that I really enjoyed my stay.

Turf valley is a beautiful resort. Great food with lots of things to do. My only negative interaction is our room still wasn't ready even after our designated check in time.

Need pet free rooms without carpet for people with pet allergies. Would recommend having several rooms allotted to pet free for people with allergies. I don’t want to sleep in a bed where a dog has been sleeping!

The room has a lot of natural sunlight, is very clean, and comfortable. Staff are welcoming and customer-driven.

If you are looking for a place to spend one night or a few days Turf Valley is the place to stay in the Ellicott City Columbia or even Woodbine or Mt Airy area. Rooms are spacious very comfortable quality fitness center with the right equipment and machines. Each time I stay the service is superior. Staff is friendly professional and ready to help with your needs with a warm greeting and friendly smile.

I wound up at the resort for the Fall MAPTA conference being held there. There was a discount provided for members attending the conference, and I chose the 1 bedroom suite for my stay. It was beautiful and spacious with a dining area, living room, balcony, bedroom and bath area. It had 2 televisions, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The restaurant Alexandra's was pretty nice. I didn't have a chance to visit the pool but I was told the hot tub near the pool was nice! I enjoyed the overall atmosphere. The wi-fi was very weak, so I couldn't really get any work done on my laptop. I golfed for the first time and I did not know that golf lasted half a day! We did the original course which consisted of 18 holes. The only thing that would've made the trip better is if the pool stayed open 24 hours. I hope I'm able to visit again.
