Only deadbolt on the room door, as a woman if I had been traveling alone, I wouldn’t have stayed. The staff were very curt. Locked us out of our room when we went to breakfast (at 8:30, not close to checkout time). It was very cold outside & I would have had to walk around the outside of the building to the only ice machine. No coffee maker in room, had microwave but no cups to use to make hot water for tea or coffee. This was my second time at a Baymont - different locations - there won’t be a third unless it is the only thing available.

Dear Management, I am writing to formally complain about the extremely unacceptable and unsafe conditions of my two-night stay at your hotel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and I am requesting a full refund for my stay. Upon arrival on Friday night (we arrived late after driving from Bradenton, FL), the room was immediately in poor condition. The room was not clean at all. The floors were sticky and dirty, the toilet was not properly cleaned, and the shower drain contained hair. Even more concerning, the toilet paper had what appeared to be blood on it, which is completely unacceptable and unsanitary. The most serious issue was that the bed appeared to have bedbugs. I woke up with multiple bites all over my body, and I was unable to sleep due to discomfort and concern for my health and safety. Additionally, there was tape placed around the fire alarm, which raises serious safety concerns and suggests prior tampering. Since staying in this room, I am now physically sick. I have been experiencing stomach issues and have been using the bathroom nonstop, which I strongly believe is a direct result of being exposed to such unsanitary conditions in the room. This has caused additional distress and concern for my health. Because we arrived late, I contacted the front desk the following morning to report these issues. The front desk agent stated that I could switch rooms later that evening; however, this was not a reasonable solution. All of my belongings were already in the room, and we had pre-planned commitments that day, including visiting my wedding venue and taking engagement photos. The disruption, stress, and lack of rest caused by these conditions significantly impacted an important time in my life. To make matters worse, there was loud noise and people talking outside at approximately 2:00 AM Friday night, further preventing us from sleeping. This property is false advertising its condition online. The room was nothing like the photos shown and did not meet even basic cleanliness or safety standards. I would absolutely not recommend staying here and would advise others to choose a nearby hotel, such as the Best Western, which appears far safer and more accurately represented. Given the severity of these issues—including bedbugs, unsanitary conditions, and now illness—I believe a full refund for both nights is entirely justified . I expect this matter to be taken seriously and look forward to your prompt response and resolution.

Needs repair on bathtub spout when you turn on the shower the spout moves badly and the sink was stopped up.

At least it was right off the highway. Otherwise, DIRTY, LOUD, SCARY, and no one offered solutions.

Tub had hair in it. Sink had not been cleaned. People next door seemed to be living actually in the hotel-guy literally looked like a pimp and had girls over. They were LOUD. Management did not offer to change room. We were worried for our safety! Gross, gross, gross place!
