This is a very peaceful place with a lovely stretch of beach just outside the hotel. Very friendly staff and rooms were great! Very good value for money.

The food was good but not great. Breakfast was great however! It’s not a place for those seeking to party.

Amazing place. Spacious clean rooms. Step out of your room onto the beach. Excellent service from staff. Could not have been better. Live music on Thursdays and we were lucky enough to see an amazing local band singing well known international songs. This place is perfect for couples. Idyllic, tranquil, beautiful with all the amenities you want, including breakfast/ lunch served in your room so you can eat on the balcony whilst looking out onto the beach and sea.

Sehr herzliches und freundliches Personal. Wir wurden zu jeder Tageszeit sehr liebevoll bedient, das Essen war sehr lecker und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ausflüge und Taxifahrten können im Hotel gebucht werden. Man hat dafür tolle Tips bekommen. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und liebevoll angelegt.

Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen. Nur die Fahrräder benötigen mal eine Wartung.

Clove Island is an incredibly cozy hotel, perfect for a peaceful getaway. We stayed in a large, beautiful villa decorated in a rustic style – the interiors are spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. The hotel is located on a quiet beach, far from the crowds and without any beach boys trying to sell something, which allows for complete relaxation and privacy. The food deserves special mention – every meal was an absolute delight.

Le charme de l'hôtel, le goût de la décoration, la finesse de la cuisine.. Nous avons adoré l'intimité, le calme et l'attention pensé à la décoration de la chambre. Un havre de paix.

PS: C'était notre second hôtel à Zanzibar.. donc déçu par la plage et la facilité à se baigner, du fait que notre 1er séjour était idyllique. Très exposé au vent les 1er jours. Les hôtes font le maximum, mais ne peuvent malheureusement pas changer leur situation géographique.

Our stay at Clove Island in Zanzibar was truly wonderful. The accommodation, and especially the team, were always warm and welcoming, making us feel that they could almost anticipate our wishes before we even voiced them. We would like to express our special thanks to Olena, who repeatedly gave us excellent suggestions for day trips. We usually used our own car for these excursions, but there was always the option for the hotel to arrange transportation as they had reliable contacts with local drivers. The property itself is very comfortable. The air conditioning always worked perfectly, and the houses are well insulated, so we could easily switch off the AC at night and still sleep comfortably. The view from the rooms over the Indian Ocean was simply breathtaking, and the interior design was charmingly local, with a beautiful emphasis on wood. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was excellent in both taste and presentation. The prices were more than fair, especially considering the quality offered. I would wholeheartedly recommend Clove Island to anyone. It’s a place where you can truly relax, and I can only encourage everyone to take the time to enjoy such a beautiful spot in Zanzibar.
