Palazzo Lakeside Hotel

Have used this hotel 3 times. I enjoy the price, location and amenities.

Very clean and staff were very friendly and nice. Positive and uplifting vibe with Christian verses posted.

Nothing good to speak of, 1 star motel.

Driving into the property we knew it was falsely advertised. My wife and I were just hoping the inside looked better than the outside of the property. No, it was just as bad. When we checked in to our “lake view” room it was dirty with buckling floor and a view of the parking lot with a very small peripheral view of the brown, man made lake that you could just barely see out of the corner of your eye. We immediately walked down to the front to tell them we no longer wanted to stay there and we were not happy with the location. Let me tell you, they don’t take criticism too well and immediately told us it’s not refundable. Then began the phone wars. They told us they don’t refund and booking does that…so we called booking. Booking told us, they don’t do that and the hotel has to do it. Then we argued with staff again who had their manager over speaker phone telling us again that they would not refund us and would only do so if they charged us for the night stay, even though we didn’t stay there. We agreed to just get out of the place as fast as we could. Called booking back, who then contacted the hotel and supposedly a refund was issued to booking , who is suppose to refund me. That’s still pending even after a week stay at another hotel. I had to dispute it on my credit card now. Booking is zero help and every time you call you get someone who doesn’t understand you and assures you to wait for a refund that doesn’t come.
