Comfort Inn Gurnee near Six Flags

We travel across the country for work and stay in hotels about 155 nights a year. This was a great hotel. One of the friendliest ones, honestly. When we went down for breakfast, they were actively cleaning all morning with so many people being here for Six Flags. The staff were super friendly, too, talking to everyone and wanting to make sure we were having a good time.

The pool and the spa was clean and checked ,from what I saw every few hours for cleanliness 👍🏽

If you get up early the Continental breakfast is great but close to the close down time the eggs get hard and revert back to a powdery taste you don't want to find out what that is and they got hard as a rock , everything else stayed fresh so if that happens you can speak up or just try the other breakfast. Items , your choice ,but I would suspect they will make it rite 🤗

I am writing to formally document the appalling conditions and safety issues I encountered during my recent stay. The room assigned to me exhibited significant deficiencies in cleanliness and maintenance. The only good thing was the location.

The sheets weren't clean when we arrived it had a red substance. The bathroom seemed like nobody had cleaned it. I wiped the bathroom sink and counter and the wipes came up black. On top of one of the picture frames in the bathroom was a joint so no it was not cleaned.
