Quality Inn Kirksville

The accommodations were excellent, no issues. The room was comfortable with a fresh smell, no lingering stale odors. However, when we went for breakfast a little after 8, the eggs were gone and didn’t get replenished. Breakfast in general was a little disappointing.

Coffee was not great out of the coffee machine. Just tasted like hot brown water. Looked like a lot repairs had happened to rooms, ceilings, bathroom etc just by looking at room.

Computer extremely slow in lobby. Printer out of toner. Refrigerator not working, was able to swap out for a working one. Clock in room broken.

It was clean and quiet

You had to put a $100 deposit on top of paying your room which was jacked up because of college graduation but they all did that none should be allowed to raise prices because of graduation I looked the price up regular it was $79 we paid $233.42 plus 100 deposit.

The room at the property had multiple issues. First, the room we were in was extremely musty and my wife and son, who are allergic to mold had issues. I believe I saw mold on the bathroom ceiling. The AC unit in our room didn't work properly and would change its own settings. Breakfast food was cold and we weren't able to select the items of interest. We settled for a waffle and pre-packaged foods. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely care about the poor experience, but no reduction in rate was offered for the sub-par experience.

We literally checked in and it was disgusting. We reserved a non-smoking room and as soon as we entered our room cigarette smoke hit us. We didn’t even stay there it was so disgusting. The room was nasty. When my husband went down to get a refund the staff argued with him and refused. We called our credit card company and they are disputing the charge. The nastiest hotel I’ve ever seen.
