Close to the University of Alabama

The room smelled. The bed was uncomfortable and the fitted sheet fell off and there were stains on pad underneath. We came back after the football game, the bed wasn’t made but then my husband took a shower and then there were no towels. They came in the room, didn’t clean and took the towels out. I went to the desk to get towels the lady asked me my room number and said she had to go to laundry to get. I waited and she never came back so I went back to the desk and she said you were supposed to follow me! Then proceeded to argue with me. I asked for a discount as the room was over $500 a night and we should at least have a towel! She said you have towels now don’t you?

Room was fine but old. A/C was excellent. Breakfast was NOT as advertised. Even called on the way there and told breakfast was omlets, bacon, pancakes... they had sausage patties, "congealed gravy", biscuits that looked and felt 5 days old, yogurt and cereal. Not a breakfast for a diabetic... needed protein that i was told they would have. Talked to customer service and they apologized but did not offer any compensation or future stay discount. Will not be back
