My booked this hotel for my brother for his stay and he definitely enjoyed his much needed break.

Good location and attentive staff

To put it simply, this hotel should be 1 star rather than 3. To start with, every door for each room is beyond run down. Multiple rooms have massive gaps between door and doorframe, to the point where as you walk by you can see the light inside the room and you can poke things through it. The paint on the doors is also peeling which is not a priority but it’s definitely not appealing. Rooms were not clean when we arrived. One room had an old sock on the floor, beds horribly made, one of the beds has dark stains on it, and there was urine on the toilet seat. Other room was also not vacuumed and badly prepared. Both rooms have red stains on carpet, which we hope it’s not blood. One of the rooms has red stains on ceiling. A complaint was made at reception but the only option available was to move to a room on the 1st floor which according to staff was pet friendly - we refused because if rooms that are not pet friendly are bad then the pet friendly ones must be unbearable. The woman working the desk was very kind however and she said she made a note of the complaint as she wanted to raise it internally. Rooms were so filthy we asked a cleaning lady the following day if she could come vacuum the room she was very kind and said that the next day when she had the vacuum she would. Shower heads on both rooms have terrible pressure which makes it extremely hard and impossible to have a quick shower. Asked reception if pool was open we were told yes to just ask for towels - we got bath mats as pool towels - this has happened on multiple days. Pool itself was filthy, had to ask reception to clean it which they didn’t (maybe lack of staff?), but provided us with the cleaning net so we had to clean the pool ourselves. Whilst we were able to clean the majority of leafs and bugs, the water itself is murky and full of oils, cannot say when it was lastly cleaned properly. Second day there was a dead frog in the pool which we fished out with the cleaning net.

Staff was very respectful and kind.

The elevator at the entrance side was not working but it was fixed later. Breakfast items were scarce and had a very small selection of items compared to other hotels with similar rates.

Not a great hotel to book nor stay .... worthless ....don't waste your money nor time if better places other than this location
