African Rest Lodge

The facility is beautiful. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The road towards the facility is really bad. A long winding gravel road

Room had spider webs, electricity went out until I checked out. The food is substandard. Bathtub is baby size

This is perfect for big groups. Loved the braai area.

There was no dish soap in our unit so I could not wash our dishes.

The place was nice, overlooking the mountains, unfortunately it is starting to look a little run down, but the staff are trying to keep it nice. There was nothing that a diabetic could eat for breakfast, as the fruit was not fresh, but tinned and the yoghurt was sweetened, so places should take dietary requirements into account. Hubby had a good breakfast though.

Lodge is a bit far from the main road. Water supply on shower was not enough.
