The hotel's main strengths are its excellent location, close to the main attractions. The castle is a bit of a walk away, but it is only just over one kilometre. The hotel itself is charming, "mysig" in Swedish , with a nice innercourt. The rooms are somewhat small, but with a minikitchenette and a good size proper fridge. A good sized  closet with drawers for keeping clothes etc. No hangers for trousers. The breakfast is decent. The main drawback is the lack of air conditioning. It is quite surprising that a Swedish hotel has made it this far into the 21st century without installing air conditioning. For that reason, I would only recommend staying here outside the hottest time of the year. Another issue is the bathroom. At least in our room, the floor appears to have been built incorrectly, as the water does not drain away on its own. Instead, the hotel provides a small window squeegee, which you have to use for quite a while to push the water towards the drain. On top of that, we had to take a couple of extra hand towels from the housekeeping cart to dry the floor, as the hotel did not provide a dedicated bath mat or floor towel. Lack of AC and poor bathroom drop points unfotunately.

Convenient location, close to where I needed to be.

The room was unbearably hot because there was no air conditioning, and the windows only opened a few centimeters, so no fresh air could come in. The hotel bar is directly below the rooms, and guests were talking loudly, shouting, laughing, singing and making noise until after 2 a.m. It was impossible to sleep. I came to the hotel to rest before an early morning, not to feel like I was sleeping inside a bar. The bathroom is extremely small, the entire floor gets soaked after a shower, there isn’t even a bath mat, and the room felt old and not particularly clean. Considering the price, this was completely unacceptable. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Saknade en lite större spegel.. Bara en i badrummet räcker inte.. Några krokar på väggen nära dörren skulle inte skada... Hårtork vore oxå bra... Samt lite större kuddar i sängen...

Skön säng och ett kylskåp på rummet

Täcket, alldeles för små kuddar, tv' n för högt upp på väggen, ingenstans att ställa toalettsaker dåligt med krokar överlag, ingen duschmatta
