The Salem Inn

Very quiet

Location was great. Heritage of building and furnishings appropriate to the style of building. Breakfast was a great start to the day

No blockout curtain on the window above the external door. Let in too much light at night.

1. Breakfast is very basic and not great Omelette small and tasteless 2. Having to opt what breakfast you wanted dey before check in options were something like a. Omelette (no other egg options) b. Mixed bagels Possibly another option can’t remember but wasn’t that great. Only had breakfast as included in the price Personally try get room without it and eat breakfast somewhere else. I don’t know if it was due to some festival but all rooms booked and price very high for what is a basic b&b no bar or any public areas etc other reception. Also breakfast is basement through another front entrance it’s all bit odd tbh.

This hotel is exceptional. Room is huge, very peaceful and quiet. I actually love the bathroom especially the shower and Jacuzzi. Friendly neighborhood, great food, front desk staff is super nice. She accommodated us because we were quite early. I would definitely come back to Salem!

Nothing negative to say. I love everything in Salem and Salem Inn.
