Good location close to activities that we were doing

I got a confirmation for a double queen suite and when we got there, they had no rooms left and they had booked us into a single king bed room. I was traveling with my brother, so needless to say it was awkward and they had to provide a roll out bed for him I would like a refund or some other compensation since this was not handled correctly.
