The property itself was very nice and very well manicured on the outside and in the lobby and pool area

The location of the upgraded(?) room and proximity to elevators wasn’t very well thought out at its conception, we stayed in room 302 which had a wonderful pool view but I am partially disabled and the elevator was a long distance from the room at the rear of the hotel, my fault for not addressing this when I booked, the staff at check in were very rude and short and it seemed as if we were bothering them when we arrived, we got to the hotel at approximately 1:30 and I was advised the room was not ready and that I would receive a text when the room was ready. At 4:05pm I still had not received a text so I went to the front desk and asked if my room was ready, again the staff appeared annoyed but checked us in and we went to our room. When we entered the room I noticed the room itself was adequate however it was very dirty, there were dirty q-tips on the floor behind the dresser along with visible hair and dust, the bathroom sink was filthy and there was fecal matter on the rim of the toilet. When I turned on the TV, which to my surprise was not a smart TV and when I tried to access the guide as described on the screen the only alert flashing was that it was “unavailable”. I was also unable to access the portion of the guide where I could have accessed my phone apps to watch atleast Netflix however I received the same notification that it was “unavailable”. I called the front desk to advise the tv was not working and the response I received was rude. I was asked if I wanted someone to come up and fix it and I ofcourse stated, “yes”.

Sofa bed did no work . Our room was not ready in time .

Most of the staff was great; especially the bartenders. Alek's wife is the best! The kitchen staff "doesn't serve salsa for breakfast" even though it's on the menu, but the bartenders argued with them long enough to make it happen. Every resort in Key West has a local iguana. Their's is very cute and quite friendly. The front desk staff is also fantastic. The shuttle service is on point and made getting to downtown worry free. The driver's are knowledgeable, funny, and kind.

The room was very nice and kept clean, and housekeeping is very sweet. Fair warning, though, the toilet paper is rough enough to chap even the hardest of little brown starfishes. The kitchenette is good, but guests stay for awhile. They really ought to provide some dishware and real coffee cups. Our room coffee pot made luke warm coffee, but the lobby has it fresh everyday. The flooring is in need of TLC; a few boards are rotten on the walkways and need to be replaced. There is only one treadmill, so sharing is caring... That kitchen staff... they must hate everyone. We got three avocado pits (like whole ping pong ball sized pits) in our little $20 guacamole cup. And talk about salsa nazis... Also, the hammock is deadly; drunkard beware! Overall, a solid 7 out of 10, but they could easily make it a 10 out of 10 with a little work

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We chose a unit with 2 bedrooms, but only one bathroom. Pool was overcroweded, suggest getting rid of the paid chairs that nobody uses.
