Budapest Marriott Hotel

You cannot beat the location - on the Danube with views of Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion and centrally located. The rooms are spacious and very clean. And the staff is accommodating and super helpful.

The Marriott , on the Pest side, is located in an ideal location, and is in reasonable proximity to desired attractions. Add to that, that it is on the Danube.....our corner room offered a STUNNING two sided view of the Danube, and a city view....sitting on the balcony was an absolute treat. The room itself is spacious and very comfortable....the staff is very kind and accommodating. This was my second stay at this hotel....I look forward to next time!!

The Marriott staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially the bellhop who assisted use at checkout. They arrange taxi, loaded bags with no hassle, gave the taxi driver pacific directions to airport and terminal. All around the stay was great including great restaurant and amazing breakfast selections

My fiancee and I had a wonderful stay! We stayed for three days after a Viking River Cruise (which was also wonderful), but after our "efficient" stateroom on the Viking ship, it was such a treat to have a large room with a soft, king-size bed and a fabulous view of the Danube on a club floor. The club lounge was well stocked and quite a treat. Club-lounge staff were friendly and welcoming (just like all staff at this Marriott!). The buffet breakfasts, included with our club-floor room, was the best. I spent more for the club foor, but it was more than worth the extra cost. But even if you don't go for a club floor, this is a wonderful hotel in a great location in a beautiful and scenic city. We love you, Budapest!

Comfortable, spacious, clean and quiet room with stunning views.

We had an excellent stay at the Budapest Marriott Hotel. The room was fantastic, and we absolutely loved the spectacular view of the river. The housekeeping team deserves a special mention for their exceptional care—everything was impeccably clean, and the towel animal sculptures were a delightful surprise for my daughter. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Club M lounge experience. A true highlight of our visit was having the opportunity to speak with the Hotel Manager, Mr. Jakub Kuligowski; it was a very pleasant chat, and we truly appreciated his hospitality. The only minor issue we encountered was that the extra bed I requested ahead of time was not in the room upon arrival. However, the front desk team handled it brilliantly and had it remedied within 15 minutes of our check-in. Overall, we were incredibly happy with our experience and would gladly return.

Great location. Nice staff. Biggest problem is thumping base heavy music from a stationary disco boat(? ) on the Danube which thumps until late in the evening right in front of the hotel. Very disturbing. Breakfast buffet is ok but nothing special - standard cold meats, cheese, omelet bar etc. Good basic big hotel but nothing special.

The location was convenient for walking around the area to explore the Pest side, but the Buda side was walkable as well. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the Danube. All of the staff I encountered and interacted with were pleasant and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit.

Hotel is in an excellent position right on the riverside. Very easy to walk to major attractions in Budapest from this hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast served daily. Staff very friendly. We had a standard room and it was clean, comfortable and suited our needs for a couple of nights.

Amazing experience. Rooms are clean and quiet, staff is pleasant and helpful, and the location is among the best in the city. Very short walk into the city center or Jewish Quarter. Easy access to Tram 2 and the dinner cruises. Wonderful breakfast. Could not have had a better stay.
