Leeds Marriott Hotel

We stayed two nights. First night sadly ( room 441) was very very noisy. We got no sleep. Reported to this receptionist and was moved that day to 525 which was a great room and quiet! So second night was great and staff at the executive suite ( we were given access after first night experience) were just lovely! Paul and Virginia are a credit to the Marriott!

Noise in first room. Went on into Early hours. Our sleep was affected and we went to The uni open day exceptionally tired. Very very noisy -

The central city location with adjacent parking was really convenient for our visit and close to a venue we visited for a performance. Friendly helpful staff at the check in, breakfast and bar. Good selection of food at breakfast. Good provision of toiletries and all topped up and working.

Bed could be slightly softer for me and water pressure a little higher. These are small points and overall we enjoyed it. Perhaps add a couple more regular tea bags and a bit more milk. A little more water would have been good too.

Loved the location right in the center of town and a 7 min walk from the train station. It was directly across from the shopping center and the main strip of food options. Their breakfast was excellent! Loads of hot full English choices, cold choices of yogurt, fruit, and granola. They offer special order egg selections. The staff were helpful and the facilities were modern and grand.

The bed was a spring mattress. Squeaky, hard and disappointingly uncomfortable for a Marriott property. I expected better bedding from this brand.
