Breakfast was decent though I only had it one day because I am a surf fisherman and am always up early and fishing during breakfast hours. Staff was friendly and helpful, though nobody was at the office when I arrived at check-in time on day 1. At least they returned my call after leaving a voicemail and I was able to get settled in.

The light switch by the door didn't work, the lamp by the bed didn't work, there was no microwave in my room, the furnishings were old, and the place needed a total remodel. Smelled like a wet dog when I walked in and later I found a couple pieces of dry dog food on the floor so they are a pet friendly place apparently. My room was in their building across the street so maybe the units closer to the beach are nicer, but I don't know.

Location, cleanliness, price and great staff. It was centrally located in Kitty Hawk. Also, it has a nice beachfront as well

Parking spots were narrow so some vehicles took 2 spots

We arrived in our room and immediately noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The beds were not clean, and overall the room did not seem properly cleaned. We went to the reception to complain and were given another room. In the second room, there was no body wash or shampoo provided. The cleanliness was still not great. We were also disturbed by the smell of cannabis coming from the neighboring room, which made the night uncomfortable. The pool was closed, even though we had specifically booked this accommodation mainly for the pool, which was very disappointing. The included breakfast was also not good. Finally, the room was extremely hot and it was impossible to properly adjust the air conditioning, which made the stay even more uncomfortable

A key drop would have come in handy. As I left prior to the office opening, I found the outer door locked thus preventing my from leaving my key in a more secure place. In addition, the location of my room (across the street from the main office) made it more difficult when my room key, while it worked fine, put me into an occupied room. I had to go to the office to get another room.

Great location by the seaside! Good price. Breakfeast was pretty good,plenty to eat. Cable TV. Clean comfy beds

The facade of the house was outdated. When we arrived there wasn’t nobody at the check in desk,door was closed( around 5PM)
