Casas da Villa- Monsanto

A disponibilidade do check in , a simpatía e disponibilidade dos funcionarios, a localizacao, especialmente a vista das traseiras da casa (tem de sair pela janela ) e o pao fresco na porta de casa pela fresca , as 7h da manha, sem ninguem chatear respeitando a nossa privacidade e descanso.

Do colchão da cama e o facto do café disponivel para a estadia (capsulas) ser minimo, 1 capsula por pessoa, por dia. A Wc tambem tinha um cheiro mau mas nao por falta de limpeza, acho que era mesmo da canalizacao. A casa tambem nao tem muita luz, se pretendem passar muito tempo por casa, pode ser desagradavel.

A localização é excelente na calma vila de Monsanto. Deixarem os produtos tipicos, o pão na porta é bastante agradável. Tem todas as facilidades para se cozinhar e tomar o pequeno almoço em conforto.

Estava frio e ligámos o aquecedor que estava no quarto. Fomos incomodados pelas 09H00 porque o quadro tinha disparado e a casa de baixa estava sem eletricidade. Voltamos a ser incomodados pelo mesmo motivo ao fim do dia. No dia seguinte a pressa de termos que sair do alojamento. A senhora da limpeza sem ter batido, tentou entrar. Muito mau. O cilindro da água é comum para a casa de baixo, e o barulho da água sempre que usam é incomodativo.

Beautiful location with stunning views. Inside has everything you need .. great hot water and water pressure. Perfect breakfast including fresh bread delivered daily. Great host and very responsive. Can’t wait to come back.

You do have to carry your luggage up to the property but it’s worth it.

Every little detail is amazing, fom the branded wares, to the stone walls, the welcome food, juice & milk in the fridge & the daily bread delivery. We were in the 2 bed & it was just delightful, what a lovely, cosy space. Well thought out, quirky, yet everything you could want for your stay. And as others have mentioned, the sunset was amazing from the little terrace. We loved Monsanto & Casas da Villa, 100% recommend.

It's not really a dislike but it is a steep walk up from the car park to the house, more to be aware, as every step is worth it 👍😃

Wow! What a wonderful place. The house really exceeded our expectations. Everything from the decor to the heated towel bar, it was all wonderful. We appreciated the warm welcome we got from the host and the little extras like the bread delivery and the breakfast. We enjoyed the terrace for watching the sunset. The internet worked well to check emails and social media. We parked at the view point with no problems. Overall we wished we could have stayed longer, it was incredible location. One day was definitely not enough to enjoy the home and the area!

I wish we could have stayed longer or if for one day, or have arrived on a different day of the week. Everything was shut down on a Monday (as expected)! And there weren't many options for dining out. Totally not a problem, just something to plan ahead for if arriving on a Monday. But I will say that one of the bonuses of arriving on a Monday is that we basically had the castle to ourselves which was a cool experience.

Vibe do lugar, o quarto me lembrou uma cabana. A recepção foi ótima e clara.

Toalhas úmidas no banheiro. As toalhas poderiam ser deixadas no quarto, já que o banheiro é bem úmido. O banheiro tinha cheiro ruim. Café da manhã limitado mas a anfitriã foi muito solícita e nos informou sobre o que desejávamos para o café

Charming little apartment set in the enlightening old mountain top town of Monsanto. We had the apartment with the balcony and the views were stunning, overlooking the village and the mountains. The fridge was stocked with milk, fruit juices, delicious sliced ham and cheese, and fresh bread arrived every morning at 7:00. There was also a supply of jams, butter, and honey, coffee, sugar, tea, and a lovely basket full of cookies and other assorted treats. The apartment was spotless and well stocked with everything you need.

It was a little cool in the bedroom section as the heat from the heat pump didn’t radiate out to the bedroom, but we brought up a small portable heater we had in the car so we’re cozy with that on.
