Reservations for Beauty Treatments for Solas Spa at the Edinburgh Marriott must be made in advance of arrival to ensure availability. Inquiries made after arrival cannot be guaranteed a time slot. Please note that Solas Spa is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Dogs are welcome and T&C's apply. Maximum of 2 dogs per room. An anti-allergy deep cleaning fee of £30 for 1 dog and £50 for 2 dogs will apply. For stays longer than 7 days, there will be additional weekly fee of £50. Not all rates include breakfast. If you book a breakfast inclusive rate, breakfast is offered for 2 adults and up to 2 children under 12 years old. Parking controls are in operation. The staff were lovely, friendly, polite and helpful. The pool area was great and it was nice to have options for steam and sauna. The breakfast selection was really good, plenty to choose from and something for everyone. Our kids loved the pancake machine! Location was great and even on a busy road and trains nearby we weren't disrupted.

The room we had was a little dated with quite traditional room furniture and a little small for our family.

The staff were excellent throughout but the room was very tired , not very clean ….. not a great standard considering what it cost me for a room for one night for one person

Bar

Listed as a airport facility but further away than we thought it would be. Also thought there was a shuttle to and from the airport. We needed to drag all of our luggage onto a bus to get to the hotel. Biggest issue is the plugs beside the bed are for Europe and not Scotland. This was an issue as I use a CPAP machine to be able to breathe at night. The Scottish plugs were on the other side of the room and my cord did not stretch that far. The staff had to scramble to find an extension cord from maintenance. Considering the number of people traveling that use CPAPs I was surprised that your facility was lacking.
