Unfortunately the property is next to homeless center and I felt being a woman unsafe. Also the were dog friendly but really no place to take the dog to potty.

Workers are great. Room was okay. Hotel is old. Area of town is okay, some weirdos but it’s expected. Great location to walk to boardwalk and downtown. Or be based and go to lost coast or north to national and state parks. Plus they allow dogs. Always found parking even on busy 4th of July. Lots of food options near by, shopping for essentials, even got an oil change and Jeep wash. For my needs my choice when staying in the area. Like the pricing too. It is a Days Inn. So have the right expectations and you will be happy.

My 13 y/o daughter and i stayed here this past weekend for a coastal getaway. We were awakened around 10pm when our room filled with marajuana smoke. When i told the front desk they said all rooms are nonsmoking but there is nothing they can do. I will never stat here again

Overall experience was good, however room soundproofing was not good. You can easily hear the noise of the side room.

Location is a walkable distance to Old Town Eureka.

It was exactly what we need. A place to sleep in a road trip.

Most of the room was ok and updated. There was long hairs still on the bathroom floor when we got in. The flip metal door blocker had the flip part broken off, so it was unusable. The hall and elevator lobby area smelled of weed despite the “this hotel is a non-smoking hotel” sign in the elevator lobby. The two rooms across from ours didn’t have the individual non-smoking signs on the door, so perhaps someone took advantage.
