Breakfast was very good. Staff was pleasant.

I was in a handicap accessible room, and I appreciated it; however, it was difficult getting into the shower because there wasn’t a handle to steady myself. I was worried that I might fall.

Gloria at the front counter was very helpful. Breakfast staff was excellent. Friendly folks!

The front desk worker couldn’t figure out why my receipt wasn’t printing, until the manager explained that third party reservations work that way. It seemed to me like something was overlooked in the training program. The result: I had to wait 10 minutes while she figured it out.

I spent a few nights at the Fairfield Inn, Jackson MI. This hotel was recently renovated and upon check-in staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and breakfast was fresh and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

During a recent stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Jackson, Michigan, my family and I experienced an incredibly distressing incident. My dog, Teddy, ingested a toxic substance from under the bed in our room. While the emergency veterinary hospital could not specifically test for methamphetamine, based on the symptoms and their professional expertise, the veterinarians strongly believe the substance was meth. This led to an overnight hospital stay and a $1,500 emergency vet bill. What made this situation worse was the hotel management's lack of accountability and support. Despite contacting the General Manager (GM) immediately after the incident, their response was dismissive. After three email attempts, a follow-up phone call, and escalating the matter to Marriott's corporate customer service, I finally received an email from the GM stating the hotel would not reimburse the veterinary expenses. Corporate has yet to respond to my further attempts to resolve this issue. As a loyal Marriott Gold Elite member for life, I trusted the Marriott brand to provide a safe and clean environment. Unfortunately, this property failed to meet even the most basic standards, as evidenced by the hazardous material left under the bed. I regret not reading the current one-star reviews before booking, as this could have saved me and my family from this traumatic ordeal. Stay away from this property if you value your safety and peace of mind. The lack of cleanliness, poor communication, and refusal to take responsibility for such a serious incident are unacceptable.

They were amazing with situating accommodations while being overbooked. I truly appreciated the hospitality and effort to get us into a room. Very helpful and personable and super clean.

I didn't really have any dislikes at this location.

Check in clerk wasn't able to find our reservation in their system even though I could show my confirmation number on booking.com email confirmation. At first the clerk didn't want to honor our reservation at the price at which we had booked it. Another employee intervened and found it on the system and we were able to check in.
