Econo Lodge Cherry Point

The pictures on the site are deceiving! This hotel is very nasty and so were the staff! I got to the room already hesitate because of the smell and once I opened the door it hit me. The room had roaches, a hole in the floor and the bathroom wasn’t touched. BEWARE the site pictures will catfish you!!!

The building smelled like mildew, paint was chipping off the walls in the halls and on room doors. The main area of the room was clean but smelled weird. The bathroom needs an upgrade and looked dirty from use and stain on bath tub.

This place is terrible! Do not stay here! We checked in, went to room, and then left to find another hotel because there was no way we were staying here. The whole place is filthy and our room smelled like mold and had mold on the ceiling. Again dont stay here.

NOTHING

I did not spend the night here. I requested a refund because people were using drugs in the rooms beside mine. I had my kids with me. VERY nasty. we were in the room for 5 minutes and left because we felt unsafe due to the drug use and how dirty the room was.

The room is not what is pictured. It had damage on the wall, the chair was broken, no smoke detector and the security lock on the door was broken.

There were cockroaches around the windows of my room, my room in general wreaked of mildew and there was a constant smell of indian food in the entrance area. Avoid booking here.

Total SHITHOLE. Avoid at all costs

Nasty

Extra bed cot was an additional $25, and the mattress was completely filthy with disgusting stains all over. Per the staff, they could refund me but no other cots could be located. It made the cleanliness of my room/bed area feel dirty uncomfortable.

Nothing

The room was dirty and smelled terrible. I believe they live in the rooms. There were roaches everywhere. Bed Sheets were stained. I also left my daughter blanket there by mistake she’s had since she was 10 years old they claim no one has seen it. Just heart breaking. I will never go back there or recommend anyone else to stay there. The bathroom was disgusting.

We did get a 2 check in, but while I was waiting the lady told me about an early check in fee. I asked how much she said 25.00. Now I did not mention that I am ops manager at a hotel, so I know there is no such thing as an early check in fee. The night of our stay I was eaten up by bed bugs.
