Great beach location, fun hot tub view, good size rooms, tv remotes and tv were confusing, but great stay!

Excellent location, fantastic hospitality, welcoming and friendly. We got upgraded to an ocean view. Continental breakfast and free coffee!! Looking for a place to stay in Dana Point, here is your spot. Very convenient.

Such a cute little place!! Room is big and comfortable and it has a view overlooking the ocean, so pretty. Dj at the front desk was super nice and helpful! Definitely would stay here again!

We messed up with our dates and DJ on the front desk could simply not have been more helpful and kind in dealing with this. The hotel served it's purpose well. Somewhere to sleep and clean up after a transatlantic flight. We arrived late and left at 06h so had no chance to experience the hotel or it's great location.

When we first drove, my wife's first thought was "cute". Then when we went to go check in, we didn't quite know where the front office was. We went to go explore to try and find it. When we found it, we met a gentleman that assisted us with checking in. He was great! He was very thorough with all the info and he even recommended some eateries in the area. When we got to our room, our first thought was "it's so bare and needs a bit of updating". The walls are all white and so were bed comforters. It needed more color. Maybe accent walls. There was alot of space in both the bedroom and the living room/kitchen. The furniture in that space was pushed all against the side wall. When we would watch TV, we would have to keep our necks torn to watch it. Very uncomfortable, so we rearranged the furniture to make it more functional. The master bedroom TV didn't work. The bathroom needs some updating as well. We didn't realize there was a metro that passed by every so often. The window and slider were all single pane, so you knew when the train passed by. The lock for the sliding door to the patio wouldn't lock. It did have a gadget that would keep it locked instead, but it was hanging by a thread. It requires 4 screws to be mounted to the door but only had two, and those two screws were almost screwed off. One good yank and it would have came off. Luckily I was able to tighten the two screws with with my good ol' club key. But, once you got on that patio, the view of the Ocean was Beautiful!!! The location of this place is not too far from markets, eateries and the pier. Overall, this place is cute. It was very clean upon arrival. Very spacious. Beds were comfortable. I would still come back, especially if im just doing an overnighter.
