Comfort Inn Saskatoon

The room is nice and clean, but we have to walk far just to go to the staircase going to our room on the second floor and the smell on that area stinks. The breakfast is good and the kitchen staff is nice.

The staff were great here! The parking was nice, but that's about where all the positives end. If you are staying at this hotel for around $100 or so I'd say it's alright... We were booked for close to $200. The hotel had a foul smell, most notably in the back entrance but the room had an interestingly sour arouma as well. The carpets were stained. The couch looked kindof gross. The bedding did appear to be clean, although the fitted sheet did not fit the mattelress properly so you could see the actual mattress, and the bed frames were not flush to the ground like most hotels (we were honestly too scared to check under there to see how dirty it was). The bathroom was fine, toilet, sink and vanity were clean. The corners were definitely missed, around the baseboard by the tub it looked very dusty/mouldy. There was also one towel with a stain on it. There is a nice new TV in the room, but idk if there was an issue with the cable on that given night but it was like watching stop motion animation. Breakfast in the morning was edible but minimal, less than your average hotel breakfast. It definitely wasn't a comfortable stay. We were afraid to sit on anything but the bed. It was a roof over our head and that's about it. This stay was about as comparable to a $50 a night rundown room in a small town with a population of less than 200. I wish I had actually taken pictures of the room but we were too focused on sleeping to make the time pass faster.

Room needs up dating. Carpet tore floor stains and walls as well

The staff were friendly but the room was not clean and had a terrible odor. The breakfast was out of many items incl. milk so cereal was not an option.

Proximity to airport

This hotel was adequate for a night’s sleep but towels were dingy, front desk did not answer when I rang or return my call when my remote didn’t work, there was coffee spilled on the phone previously that wasn’t cleaned up and the staircase smelled bad. The breakfast was poor quality. I will not stay here again.
