MONO Suites Old Town

Central location and comfortable bed, nice bedding. Liked the small kitchen and all you'd need to cook. Small kitchen table and sofa bed. Was warm and met our needs. No frills or fuss.

The coding system on arrival for WiFi. We didnt get the code and there is no access after you are in the building. Perhaps a booklet/sign inside property would be helpful. The door entrance was always surrounded by people as it right on a very busy bus stop. The street is very lively and I personally didnt love entering that code surrounded by so many people, but I understand that wouldn't bother others. Just something to be aware of.

- the 250£ deposit and generally the online check in which gave me issues and made me submit my passport copy - kitchen not that well equipped, amongst others no coffee machine of any sort (just instant coffee bags available)

Posizione ottima, davvero a pochissimo dal Royal Mile e, malgrado tutto, non particolarmente rumorosa. Onesta per la descrizione. Comodo non avere le chiavi ma al tempo stesso tre codici per entrare nell'appartamento sono un po' troppi.

Mamma mia quanta polvere, astenersi allergici, la lampada in cucina non è neanche più del colore originale. Anche la cornetta della doccia sarebbe da pulire per togliere un po di calcare. Il letto matrimoniale, malgrado ci fosse scritto alla francese, è un po' più piccolo dello standard e non è stato comodissimo.

Appartment and main facilities good. Located near old town made it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go.

Very noisy at night as on main road and windows do not cut out any sound. Should have realised as there were ear plugs all around the appartment. Did not sleep well due to the noise. Shower almost impossible to regulate and once at the right temptature it would change to either really hot or freezing a minute or two later. In the days before we arrived we recieved a lot of emails that were either confusing/incorrect updates on check in or promotions.

Le canapé-lit pour deux adolescents était très inconfortable et ils ont très mal dormi. Nous avons compris pourquoi il y avait des bouchons d’oreilles sur les tables de nuits: très bruyant avec les appartements d’à côté: nous entendions beaucoup l’appartement juste à côté avec les parents et enfants qui criaient à 7h du matin déjà.
