The old building is beautiful and authentic. Our room was clean, tastefully decorated and spacious

I was surprised and disappointed that our room did not have a view towards Hobart. My understanding by all the photos I saw when booking that we would be Hobart facing.

Loved the heritage style of the hotel and to find a Rydges in a great location and good value for money was a great find. The buffet for breakfast had a good variety and was reasonably priced.
