St Marys Hotel

I cancelled this as I was unaware that it had shared bathrooms.

Friendly staff, friendly people at the pub!

Rustic feel. Sink in own room. Check-in/check-out easy. Ample parking. Vibe of town.

Bit of noise travel through the accommodation.

The pub downstairs was nice, had that old pub feel to it. Food was alright. Didn’t have the breakfast that was provided although it looked like people were enjoying it! Staff were lovely. Also was nice to see all the locals there enjoying themselves

I mean for the price it’s understandable, but the bed’s are well outdated mattress and pillows are paper thin. I think with some little additions it could be a lot better, also being such an old property I guess you can hear through the walls fairly easy. But like I said at the beginning you get what you pay for, so don’t have high expectations.

Amazing value for money ! The staff was super friendly and helpful; they even found sandwiches for us even if we reached after closing time. Obviously, it looks a bit old fashioned and facilities are basic, but it was clean and comfortable. You cannot find better for this price for sure! They even provide some free breakfast (which we don't get in properties for which we pay double or more...).

Charming old-timey hotel above a pub in St Marys. Rustic and lovely rooms.

No ensuite bathrooms. Rooms a tiny bit small. A sink in the room would have been nice.

Just a good old fashioned pub stay with a great host and family type bar and yummy food and drinks 🍷

Only one thing was a hard bed

Very friendly staff. All as expected from the type of accommodation on top of pub. Shared bathroom and toilet. Room was clean and big enough. Very high ceilings makes nice feel of vintage accommodation. Good heating provided.

A bit old facilities. Good to have hooks around sink in bathroom. No place to hang a towel when brushing teeth.
