villa Bismarkia

What a fabulous stay we had at Villa Bismarkia. Roberto and his family are the perfect hosts. Always on hand for local advice and assistance, but they manage this discreetly. The Villa is set out fantastic with multiple units on site. Each has its own private areas. We stayed in the upstairs apartment, which was spacious and immaculate. The air conditioning in each room was great due to us visiting during a heatwave. The apartment was very quiet. The large private seating area with cover was great to eat on and play games. The grounds that the villa sits in and the pool area make this a very special place. At night, the grounds are stunning. Roberto has created the perfect space for relaxing, which is only a short drive into Syracuse. This is a must visit during darkness. A car is a must due to the Villa's location. A beach is around 800m walk. Would highly recommend and can't wait to visit again.

The most beautiful gardens and pool. It was like a haven. Quiet and perfectly located to Syracuse and Ortigia. We loved coming back there and Roberto and his son Eric were just fantastic. We couldn't have asked for anything more, just wonderful! We will be back, thank you, Melanie and family

We spent a month traveling around Italy and 12 of those days were in Sicily - my kids (aged 7,8 and 9) wished we had just stayed the whole month at Villa Bismarkia. We loved the pool and gardens and hosts. Roberto and Erik (his son) were so hospitable. They were always making sure we had everything we wanted/ needed. Went above and beyond making our stay comfortable and giving lots of good recommendations.

Very nice and welcoming hosts. The bedrooms are nice and beds are comfortable. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi in the outside area. The place is clean.

Some basics are missing, for example, there is no dishwasher, you´ll have to clean by hand. No coffee provided, and no product provided for the washing machine. There is a Lidl shop 7km away from the place. The location is not great, there is not much to do around. You will need to have a car to drive to other area, unless you want to spend time by the pool.

Spacious and clean apartment with comfortable beds, large living room and kitchen. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, grill - all in a lovely, well managed garden. Great place to stay with family, at outskirts of Syracuse. Very helpful and welcoming host.

We had a car and wanted a base for exploring the Syracusa-area. The kids/youths wanted a pool. Villa Bismarkia was the perfect fit for us. The kids really loved the place. A wonderfully exotic feel with all the different kinds of palm trees. Everything was top notch. For a family very convenient with a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine. When we had a small technical issue in the house, our hosts fixed it immediately. Wonderfully serviceminded and kind. We traveled all over Sicily during two weeks and this was a highlight.

Everything was incredible! The host was extremely nice and aided us on every step, including providing us with a list of different restaurants where we could have dinner, waited for us until almost midnight to arrive and so much more! Great host and a beautiful place!

The location was more beautiful than we could have imagined, in the quiet of the countryside surrounded by plants, orange and lemon trees and most particularly exotic palms. Roberto and his son Erik were always on hand if we needed anything though we never felt aware of their presence. Siracusa is just a short distance away.

There wasn’t anything to dislike.
